Biography:

John Walker, also known as U.S. Agent, debuted in Captain America #323 (November 1986). He initially appears as Super-Patriot, a costumed hero with extreme nationalistic views.

Chosen by the Commission on Superhuman Activities, Walker underwent a process that granted him powers mirroring Captain America's. He replaced Steve Rogers as Captain America, serving in this role for a time. His more aggressive and brutal methods, however, proved controversial and ultimately unsuitable for the mantle.

Following his tenure as Captain America, Walker was rebranded as U.S. Agent. As U.S. Agent, he continues to serve the government, often undertaking missions with a more ambiguous moral compass. He's a complex character whose patriotism is often tested by the directives he receives.
